About Us
Anglican Grammar School, Ijare (AGSI), was established in 1972. Over its 50 years, 3,578 students have graduated from the school. Many of its alumni are prominent citizens of this nation and the wider world today. Therefore, it is fitting to celebrate this great institution and briefly record the historical events that have transpired over the past fifty years. Some of the stories in this publication are meant to serve as a reminder of the school’s humble beginnings, to appreciate the efforts of our past heroes, and to give glory back to God for the remarkable academic achievements accomplished so far.
